Pancakes are soft & fluffy, eggs are cooked well. Everything was tasty. Breakfast is my favorite meal. Service can be delayed if you're on a tight time crunch, since on the weekends, it gets busy. But weekdays, it's fine. Their lunches are good too.
I haven't been to IHOP in ages, but the proximity of this location to my work in Lakewood has been tempting me for the past month. I finally gave in and tried it for myself. What's immediately striking as soon as I stepped inside the restaurant was the near ceiling-high partitions that sectioned off each dining booth like cubicles. Upon close inspection, I decided that these are remnants of the pandemic measures. If you are claustrophobic, you might have an issue dining here. A side effect of having these partitions was that the server had to be extra intentional when checking on the diners. My server, Alex, was not only attentive, but super friendly as well. I never had to wait to place the order or pay for the meal. He's always one step ahead when anticipating my needs. I got a Big Brunch Burger, accompanied by two pancakes. The burger was rich, stacked with a patty, bacon strips, and a sunny-side egg. It's my fault that there's no vegetables in the burger. I switched off the fries with pancakes because there's no reason to have fries when dining at a pancake house. I had forgotten how good the pancakes are. They're buttery and fluffy, and griddled to a beautiful golden brown. I pour minimal syrup on my pancake and removed the butter because I wanted to focus on the pancakes themselves. I know I need more plant-based foods in my diet, which is the only reason why I can't go to IHOP every day for lunch, but it sure is tempting.
Walked in , no line. Came in on National pancake day. They do not have the syrups on the end of the table anymore. You have to request it. Pancakes were delicious.
I haven't had IHOP in a long time and had a hankering for a good variety of pancakes to choose from, so of course I had to hit up IHOP! My dad ordered the breakfast crepe and I chose the blueberry pancakes to share, which came out alright. The breakfast crepes were amazing while the blueberry pancakes were alright. It wasn't my first choice, but I'll say I prefer the strawberry banana pancakes. However, my dad enjoyed both dishes! Service was nice and quick for a Sunday morning. There was no wait for tables and we got our food fairly quickly! Recommend: breakfast crepes, strawberry banana pancakes
